A few weeks ago we helped host Carlingford Public School’s disco. The theme was Olympics and Sports so children arrived wearing their favourite sports team jerseys or sports outfit.
There are roughly 300 students who attend the school so to tailor the music and activities to the appropriate age groups we ran two separate discos. One for the older children and one for the younger children. This ensures a more structured disco program for the younger children and a little more fun for the older children.
A highlight for the children and for us entertainers as well was seeing a few of the teachers including the school principle, join in on the fun by getting up on stage and singing and dancing to Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off.
